Today, we are proud to announce a powerful new partnership with the Gift of Adoption Fund (GOA), a national nonprofit committed to helping children find permanent, loving homes for children in vulnerable circumstances by removing the financial barriers to adoption.
This partnership is deeply personal to us. For adults living with cystic fibrosis (CF), the road to parenthood is often filled with unique challenges, from fertility hurdles to adoption barriers. While advances in medicine have extended life expectancy and quality of life for people with CF, outdated perceptions and financial obstacles have continued to stand in the way of family-building. Together with GOA, we are changing that narrative — and changing lives.
Gift of Adoption shares our belief that that costs should not stand between a child in need of a family and a family who wants to adopt. They provide critical adoption assistance grants to help cover the final costs of adoption — the costs that too often delay or derail the ability for a child and parents to unite. Through our partnership, we are ensuring that individuals and couples living with cystic fibrosis are seen, supported, and celebrated on their journey to growing their families.

Through this partnership, Filotimo will identify and refer eligible CF individuals and couples who are pursuing adoption. GOA will leverage their deep expertise and compassionate grantmaking process to help these families cross the finish line. Together, we are removing one of the final — and most daunting — hurdles that stand between a child and their forever family.
