Family Building Grants

If you’re an adult with cystic fibrosis and you want to build a family, we want to help.

IVF feels out of reach. Adoption costs stopped you in your tracks. A fertility clinic turned into a financial dead end. You were told this wasn’t possible for you.

Whatever the barrier is, we’re here.

What We Cover

A number of family-building related costs, including:

  • Sperm retrieval or preservation
  • In vitro fertilization (IVF)
  • Genetic testing and counseling
  • Fertility medications
  • Adoption support

Who can apply

Family Building grants are for adults with cystic fibrosis, age 18 and older, who are ready to start a family.

If one partner has a CF diagnosis, one partner has a diagnosis of infertility, the couple does not yet have biological or legally adopted children, and they are open to treatment at a Filotimo partner facility, a grant may be the way to relieve the financial strain of building a family. Before applying, both partners complete a background check through the link below and download the results. You’ll upload the PDF as part of your application.

Step 2
