Founder & President

Pete Proimos is an entrepreneur, advocate, and the founder of the Filotimo Foundation. Diagnosed with cystic fibrosis at birth, Pete has transformed his lived experience into a mission to break down barriers for others navigating chronic illness, infertility, and adoption. With a background in sales and philanthropy, he leads the Foundation’s strategic vision and national expansion efforts, ensuring families facing hardship can access the support they deserve.

Co-Founder
Annie Proimos is a passionate advocate, devoted mother of three, and co-founder of the Filotimo Foundation. As the wife of founder Pete Proimos, Annie has witnessed firsthand the challenges families face when navigating cystic fibrosis and infertility. With a background in education and community engagement, she brings heart, clarity, and vision to the Foundation’s mission — ensuring that every family has a chance to grow, no matter the obstacles.

Her career spans industries and disciplines — from corporate communications and public relations to marketing strategy and business development — serving global brands like Procter & Gamble, IBM, AbbVie, and Lowe’s.

Nicole’s passion for storytelling, reputation management, and purpose-driven messaging fuels her commitment to the Foundation’s mission. Outside of her work, she continues to deepen her knowledge and advocacy in areas closest to her heart: infertility, health, and wellness.
