This partnership brings together our shared commitment to empowering individuals living with cystic fibrosis (CF) to pursue their fertility and family-building goals with greater access and affordability.
Why this matters
For individuals with CF, fertility and family planning often come with extra layers of complexity. At the Filotimo Foundation our mission is rooted in the Greek concept of filotimo — compassion, generosity, and doing what’s right without expectation. We provide need-based financial assistance and support to adults with CF who are building families.
Likewise, Mandell’s Clinical Pharmacy is a fertility-focused pharmacy built from firsthand experience of an infertility journey. They’ve developed a patient-centered, full-service model that emphasizes care, support, and affordability.
Together, by combining Mandell’s expertise in fertility medication and pharmacy logistics with our mission and network in the CF community, we’re removing a critical barrier: the cost of fertility-related medications for people living with CF.
What the partnership will do
Under this new alliance:
- Mandell’s Clinical Pharmacy will provide competitive-drug-price options for fertility medications, helping Filotimo Foundation serve more CF patients.
- The Filotimo Foundation will continue to provide its core services of financial assistance, counseling and support throughout the fertility journey.
- Individuals with CF will benefit from a streamlined, supportive system: expert pharmacy access with 24/7 pharmacist availability from Mandell’s, paired with our CF-specific family-building support.
Our shared goal is to expand reach and access — ensuring people living with CF feel seen, supported, and equipped to pursue their reproductive goals no matter where they live.
