As we approach Giving Tuesday, December 2nd, we’re reflecting with gratitude, pride, and deep appreciation for the community that drives everything we do. Filotimo (fee-LOH-tee-moh) means helping others without expecting anything in return, and in 2025, that spirit fueled extraordinary progress.
This year, together, we expanded our reach, strengthened our programs, and supported more adults living with cystic fibrosis (CF) than ever before.
While our full Impact Report is yet to come in January once the year ends, here is a little peek at the great work done in 2025.
A Year of Unprecedented Growth
From 1 to 45 Hospitals Nationwide
In just one year, our hospital network grew from a single partner to 45 CF care centers across the United States, allowing us to support more than 9,000 adults with CF, over 20% of the entire adult CF population. This expansion ensures that adults with CF can access hardship support directly through their care teams, and it reflects our commitment to meeting people where they are.
Family-Building Support Expands to 150+ Fertility Clinic Locations
The Filotimo Foundation was created by an adult living with CF who understands the complexities of building a family. In 2025, our family-building program grew from one clinic partner to more than 150 fertility locations nationwide, allowing more individuals to access grants for IVF, sperm retrieval, genetic testing, adoption, and more.
Direct Support That Changes Lives
700+ Requests for Assistance Answered
From medical bills to food insecurity, from transportation and lodging to transplant support, adults with CF reached out more than 700 times this year, and we showed up. Our hardship and family-building programs provided over $600,000 in direct support, easing financial burdens so that individuals could focus on their health and their future.
Celebrating the First Filotimo Baby
This year, we celebrated a beautiful milestone: the first birthday of our very first Filotimo Baby. What began as a dream became a reality and now, many more Filotimo babies are on the way, each story a testament to hope, perseverance, and the generosity of this incredible community.
