Who We Are
Filotimo (fee-LOH-tee-moh) is a Greek philosophy rooted in empathy, compassion, and generosity. It represents doing what is right and honorable, offering kindness without expecting anything in return, while maintaining humility.
At the Filotimo Foundation, we are unwavering in our mission to support adults living with cystic fibrosis (CF). This commitment is driven by personal experience – our founder, an adult with CF, knows firsthand the obstacles that CF patients face as they transition into adulthood, start families, and strive for a fulfilling, healthy life.
Since our launch in 2022, we have provided over $250,000 in direct assistance to adults with CF. Our support helps individuals access the medical care, resources, and financial stability they need to manage their condition, prioritize their mental and physical health, and improve their overall quality of life. We are focused on tangible impact, ensuring that every contribution helps CF adults thrive.
