Types of Cystic Fibrosis Support

The Filotimo Foundation is dedicated to supporting adult cystic fibrosis patients (age 18 and older) residing in the United States. By submitting your information through the form below, you grant permission for the Filotimo Foundation to contact medical professionals and social workers, to ensure we can best address your request.

Cystic Fibrosis Assistance Support

Eligibility Requirements:

  1. I (or the person I am applying on behalf of) have cystic fibrosis.
  2. I am a person living in the United States or receiving treatment at a United States pulmonary clinic that partners with Filotimo Foundation. Note: If your clinic is not currently a partner, please submit your request, and we will collaborate to onboard your clinic.
  3. I am an adult, aged 18 or older.
  4. I am experiencing financial hardship and am unable to meet my financial obligations.

By submitting your information, you give permission for The Filotimo Foundation to contact medical professionals and social workers, if needed, to better assess and respond to your request.

Cystic Fibrosis Family Building Support

Eligibility Requirements:

  1. I (or my partner) am an adult with cystic fibrosis.
  2. I (or my partner) have a diagnosis of infertility.
  3. I do not have children (the adult with CF must not already have biological/ legally adopted children).
  4. For Fertility: I do not have comprehensive insurance coverage for fertility services including IVF.
  5. I am willing to receive IVF treatment at one of the Filotimo Foundation partner IVF facilities.

The Filotimo Foundation offers grants to support cystic fibrosis (CF) patients in the United States who are trying to start a family, either through adoption or fertility treatments.

If you have questions about CF and fertility or other fertility treatments, Filotimo has partnered with fertility providers to offer personalized fertility care.

Here’s how the process works:

  1. Fill out the Request Assistance form below.
  2. Filotimo will connect with you to learn about your infertility journey.
  3. A request from Filotimo Foundation is sent to the best fertility clinic option based on your needs and location. If you are currently working with a fertility clinic, be sure to list them. If they are not currently a member of the Filotimo Foundation network, we can explore adding them.
  4. The chosen fertility clinic’s team consults with the couple to create a treatment plan for Filotimo’s review.
  5. Filotimo contacts the couple to discuss financial assistance, potentially covering part or all of the fertility treatment costs.
